Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

Have you ever considered asking a family member or a friend to become a Catholic? Many new members of our Faith have joined us because someone had invited them. The RCIA welcomes anyone interested in becoming a Catholic through a series of informal sessions and instructions.

The RCIA., Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is a process designed for adults who freely seek the way of faith and conversion as the Holy Spirit opens their hearts. The Community of the Faithful supports catechumens and candidates by reflecting on the Paschal Mystery with them, Four periods comprise this process: Inquiry Cathechumenate Purification and Enlightenment Mystagogia.

Sessions are held weekly on Wednesday evenings beginning in the Fall. Special Rites are celebrated throughout the year on the designated Sundays. The Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Eucharist are celebrated in the Easter Season for individuals who have made their spiritual preparation through this Process.

Anyone who is seriously thinking about becoming a Catholic Christian or would like more information please call the parish house
