CCD
Parents of children attending public schools have an obligation to see that their children receive a religious education. The dedicated people involved in our Religious Education Program look forward to sharing with you in the fulfillment of that obligation. We believe our program is a good one, and hope your children will participate from Kindergarten through high school.

RCIA
Have you ever considered asking a family member or a friend to become a Catholic? Many new members of our Faith have joined us because someone had invited them. The RCIA welcomes anyone interested in becoming a Catholic or simply learning more abou their faith.

Perpetual Adoration
Perpetual adoration is the adoration of Jesus Christ present in the Holy Eucharist. In the many churches, including here at St. Mary, that have this adoration, the Eucharist is displayed in a special holder called a monstrance. People come to pray and worship Jesus continually throughout the day and night.

Children's Liturgy of the Word
During the 10:30 Mass, all Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade children of the parish are invited to participate in the Children's Liturgy of the Word. The children are dismissed after the opening prayer to the Chapel where they can more fully participate in the Sunday readings.
Evangelization Committee
Our mission is: To invite all men, women and children to participate in our parish by enthusiastically welcoming them and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ, in order to unite and strengthen our parish family in faith, worship, community and service.

Pastoral Council
Pastoral Councils were formed in each parish within the Archdiocese as part of the spiritual renewal process in preparation for the new millennium.
The purpose of the council is to advise and assist the pastor in areas of pastoral concern. It is composed of elected and appointed members of the parish along with those on the parish staff involved with pastoral care.
Elected members of the Pastoral Council serve for a period of three years. Meetings are held monthly and last approximately two hours.
Pre-Cana
The PreCana program is available for couples and individuals preparing for the Sacrament of Marriage. A successful marriage comes from a wide base of preparedness, of personal development and interpersonal skills between couples. Transition and change within marriage are the challenges facing today's generation of newlyweds. To maintain a healthy marriage throughout a lifetime takes maturity and information on developing a strong marriage relationship. As a community, we help individuals and couples prepare for this vocation by offering our time, talent and experience to those people preparing for marriage in today's challenging times.
Acclaim
This musical group plays the Third and Fourth Sunday or each month. All teen and adults are invited to join us.
Practice is held each fourth Sunday of the month at 11:30am.
Marian Choir
The Marian Choir welcomes anyone from high school age and up. If you enjoy singing and can carry a tune, you are cordially invited to join us. Commencing in mid fall through early May, practice is held Thursdays from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Spirit Choir
The Spirit Choir serves the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month. All adults and high school age teens are cordially invited to join us. Practice is held each second Sunday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Folk Music Ministry
The Folk Music Ministry serves the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month Adults and high school age musicians and singers are encouraged to join us. Practice is held Monday following the 3rd Sunday of the month from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Children's Choir
The Children's Choir is open to all parish children from grades 3 to 8. The coir serves the final Sunday or the month during the school year. Practice is held every other Monday during the school year from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Legion of Mary
This group meets every Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the music room, which is the last room in the annex. All are welcome.

Knights of Columbus

Rose for Life
A rose is placed before the Statue of the mother of God for the intentions of your living or deceased loved ones. The cost of sponsoring a rose is $5.00.

St. Vincent de Paul Society
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, is an international nonprofit Catholic organization of lay persons. It leads men and women to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to the needy and the suffering.

Catholic Social Services
Each Thursday there will be an CSS office available for residents of this area in St. Philip Neri Church in Pennsburg.
This Catholic agency offers an array of services. You may call them @ 215-679-2282 between 1 and 5 p.m. on Thursdays.
Divine Mercy
On February 22, 1931, a young Polish nun, Sr. Faustina Kowalska, saw a vision of Jesus with rays of red and pale streaming from His Heart.
He told her to have an image painted to represent this vision and to sign it, "Jesus, I trust in you!". Calling her the Apostle and Secretary of His mercy, He ordered her to begin writing a diary so others would learn to trust in Him.

Hospitality Committee
The Hospitality Committee welcomes all new parishioners into Saint Mary at a coffee social monthly after the 10:30 Mass. Besides this important function members of the committee also are available to prepare and hose functions held at Saint Mary such as World Day of Prayer, Ecumenical Services and the like. Volunteers are always welcome.
Pro Life Group
Saint Mary Pro-Life Group works to promote respect for human life from conception until natural death and to halt the slaughter of pre-born babies by using the power of prayer and by other peaceful means available to us. Our two regular activities are our monthly meetings, and a car pool to a prayer vigil in front of an abortion mill, which leaves Saint Mary's at 6:00 a.m. on the 3rd Saturday of the month.
Parent and Child Play Group
The Parent-Child Play Group has been established to provide activities and socialization for young children. It also offers the opportunity for parents to make new friendships within the growing parish community. The group meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month for Approximately two hours. All interested parents and their children are encouraged to join.
Senior Group
St. Mary Senior Group meets each 2nd and 4th Tuesday in the Parish House at 10:30 a.m. Senior members of the parish meet to discuss current topics of Church Community or nation. Interesting educational videos are viewed and new friends and contacts are made.
