PARISH LEADERSHIP

Pastoral Council
Advises and assists the Pastor in areas of pastoral concern, including the development and implementation of a parish pastoral plan through consensus and prayerful reflection.
What does it involve?
The Pastoral Council meets ten times per year as an advisory group to our Pastor.
Who should participate?
Elections are held annually in the spring for half of the membership. Several members are ex officio: Coordinator of Religious Education, and our School Principle; others are appointed by the Pastor.

Finance Council
Assists and guides the Pastor in achieving the fiscally and managerially responsible stewardship of the Parish's material goods and financial resources.
What does it involve?
The Finance Council meets once a month from September through June.
Who should participate?
Volunteers with a background in financial matters. The Pastor
approves all appointments to the Council.
Stewardship Council
This Group assists the Pastor and the Stewardship Coordinator with the development and maintenance of the Stewardship Program at St. Mary’s Parish.
What does it involve?
The Council helps develop and maintain a sense of connectedness among our parish organizations. The Council will meet on a monthly basis.
Fundraising Committee
Coordinates and implements activities and events that financially benefits our parish and parish school.
What does it involve?
Developing, planning and implementing fundraising strategies, activities and/or events.
Who should participate?
All are welcome.
